About Markasa Health
Strengthening the operations behind better healthcare.
Markasa Health is a healthcare technology and services company helping independent practices improve operational visibility, workflow structure, and business intelligence, with a current focus on independent women’s-health practices.
We develop practical tools and professional services for practice owners and administrators who need clearer ways to understand how their business operates, where workflow gaps may exist, and what deserves management attention.
Founded From Firsthand Healthcare Experience
Markasa Health was founded in 2026 by Martori Bailey, RDMS, following more than sixteen years of clinical and operational experience in OB/GYN and women’s-health imaging.
Her experience spans hospital systems, outpatient centers, physician practices, maternal-fetal medicine environments, and multi-state travel assignments. Working across different healthcare organizations required rapid adaptation to new electronic medical record platforms, imaging systems, physician protocols, staffing structures, and administrative workflows.
That breadth of experience revealed a recurring operational challenge: experienced healthcare teams are often required to manage complex workflows across disconnected systems, overlapping responsibilities, and limited management visibility.
Markasa Health was established to address that challenge through structured workflow assessment, practical healthcare technology, disciplined analysis, and clearly defined operational tools.

“After more than sixteen years inside women’s-health environments, I saw how often capable teams were expected to manage complex workflows without a clear view of how information, responsibilities, and operational conditions were moving across the practice. Markasa Health was created to turn that firsthand experience into practical technology and structured guidance for independent practices.”

How Markasa Health Supports Independent Practices
Independent Practice Intelligence (IPI)
Turn Practice Data Into Decisions.
Independent Practice Intelligence is a recurring business-intelligence platform that organizes aggregate practice-level information into structured financial, operational, revenue-cycle, risk, trend, and public market context.
IPI helps practice leadership understand what changed, what deserves management attention, what should be monitored, and where opportunities may exist. Its calculations and findings are produced through deterministic analytical rules. AI is used afterward to summarize and interpret those existing results in management-oriented language.
IPI is designed for practice-level business information only. It does not require patient records or protected health information.
Referral Workflow Review
Turn Referral Gaps Into Action.
The Referral Workflow Review is a one-time written assessment of how referrals move through an independent practice.
Markasa Health examines workflow handoffs, ownership, follow-up, visibility, duplicated work, delays, and unresolved operational gaps. The practice receives a customized workflow assessment, workflow map, identified gaps, Operational Revenue Risk Findings, prioritized recommendations, a 30-day implementation plan, a management summary, and written follow-up support.
The Referral Workflow Review evaluates operational conditions. It is not a billing, coding, claims-processing, collections, payer-contract review, insurance-verification, or revenue-cycle outsourcing service.
Our Approach
Markasa Health’s work is guided by four principles:
- Grounded in healthcare operations: Our work begins with an understanding of how responsibilities, information, and technology function in real healthcare environments.
- Structured and transparent: Findings are based on defined information, documented rules, and clearly stated methodology.
- Practical for independent practices: Recommendations and technology are designed for organizations that may not have enterprise reporting teams or extensive administrative infrastructure.
- Clear about boundaries: Markasa Health uses aggregate business and operational information and does not require patient records or PHI for its current commercial offerings.
IPI and the Referral Workflow Review address different management needs. A practice may use either offering independently.
Practical Support for the Business Behind Healthcare
Independent practices need operational systems that are understandable, manageable, and appropriate for the realities of their organization.
Markasa Health exists to help strengthen that foundation through practical technology, structured intelligence, and focused workflow assessment.
